About Me

My background is rooted in governance, risk, and compliance, with a focus on strengthening security controls and helping organizations operate securely while meeting regulatory obligations. I began my career in environmental compliance and risk management, where I led large-scale environmental compliance initiatives, coordinating regulatory requirements, vendor partnerships, and operational risk management across a multi-state portfolio. That experience helped me build a strong foundation in risk analysis, regulatory oversight, and stakeholder communication, which I later applied to cybersecurity. Today, my work centers on evaluating risk, assessing the effectiveness of security controls, and helping organizations strengthen their governance and compliance posture.

Currently, I have worked in roles spanning security operations, advisory, and managed detection and response, where I monitor and investigate security alerts, conduct risk assessments, and support organizational compliance initiatives. I am particularly passionate about the GRC space because it connects technical security with broader business strategy—ensuring that policies, controls, and operational processes work together to reduce risk. I enjoy helping teams understand the purpose behind security requirements, building stronger security awareness across organizations, and contributing to governance structures that help companies stay resilient in an evolving threat landscape.
