About Me

I’m a British Army veteran with a background in operations, marketing and information security. I didn’t take the usual route into GRC, but that’s helped me understand how security actually lands with real teams, not just how it looks in a policy.

I got into GRC because, throughout my career, I kept finding myself banging the drum about security and risk, usually to people who had other priorities. So I decided to move into a field where those things are part of the job, not an awkward side conversation.

These days I focus on ISO 27001, risk management and supplier assurance, helping organisations turn security requirements into practical steps people can actually follow.
